ICEOL Director Richard Payne Participates in Nationally Broadcast Conversation on Cancer Survivors and End-of-Life Care
"Take One Step: A Conversation about Cancer" aired nationally on PBS on April 16. The program, hosted by well known broadcast journalist Linda Ellerbee, involves a panel of doctors - who also are cancer survivors - discussing their personal stories as well as a variety of issues related to cancer and the end of life.

The Duke Institute on Care at the End of Life (ICEOL) announces a partnership with The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast and The Hospice Institute of the Florida Suncoast. A common mission, to educate people about the intersection of spirituality and health care at the end of life, forms the nucleus of the alliance.
